New Lily Allen Video!!

Lily Allen, despite people badmouthing her, is still one of my favorite artists. Her first album remains one of my faves and the new tracks she's premiered on her myspace sound smashing. Her first single now entitled "The Fear" (formerly "I Don't Know") and the video is premiered above. It's a great video for an amazing track. Her lyrics are edgy and touch on a lot of current issues in the media. Her lines are written very smartly and approached in a way only she can really pull off. Probably my favorite line is "I'm a weapon of massive consumption, it's not my fault, it's how I'm programmed to function." I know EXACTLY how she feels. The clip is very 60s flower child, meets Alice in Wonderland, meeting Gentlemen Prefer Blondes. She looks flawless and hopefully this will catapult her back to music success--hopefully stateside this time around.
