The Dolls performed a medley of "Jai Ho" and "When I Grow Up" at the Nick award show Saturday. It's one of their best performances in a while--the updated dance break at the end is sick!

Doll Domination 2.0 Cover!

It's official! The Pussycat Dolls are re-releasing their mess of an album Doll Domination retitled 2.0. They're hoping to boost lackluster sales by including hot new tracks "Jai Ho" and "Top Of The World," the theme from the show The City. There are also a few new songs as well including one called "Painted Windows" which sounds like a hot mess. I'm wondering if they're taking songs off the album as it is already a cumbersome 18 tracks with 5 bonus ones! They're putting on hold release of mediocre single "Bottle Pop"--for now at least. Here's the very zexy new cover! Loves it!

Pussycat Dolls Jai Ho Video Premiere!!
Finally!!!! It's the video we've ALL been waiting for! The Pussycat Dolls have just premiered their new video for the English version of Jai Ho from the Oscar winning movie Slumdog Millionaire. The Dolls certainly know how to turn out a video with their impeccable dance moves and rockin' bods. I'm amazed they braved the cold Vienna snow in those outfits! I'm glad they incorporated the Indian culture and the Bollywood style of dance into the video, it really adds to it. The song is already blowing up on radio and I think it will be here for quite a while!

Making the Video of "Jai Ho" by the Pussycat Dolls!
The Pussycat Dolls have caught Slumdog Millionaire fever just like the rest of the world! They've recorded an English version of the track "Jai Ho" from the Slumdog soundtrack and it is faboo! It uses the same track as the original, but features new English lyrics which equals hawtness. Here's the behind the scenes video while shooting the music vid in a train station in Vienna. Even if you don't like the Dolls, it's definitely worth it to watch just to see how awful and tired Robin Antin looks!

The Pussycat Dolls "Bottle Pop" Video Premiere!
Here's a low quality version of the upcoming release from The Pussycat Dolls entitled "Bottle Pop." The clip is good, but not fantastico so I hope it's enough to help in promotion of this single. The song is one of the more "radio-friendly" tracks from what has proved to be the disastrous Doll Domination. "I Hate This Part" is finally picking up speed here in the US, so maybe this will do well on the heels of it. The Dolls tend to do better with up tempo tracks on radio anyway. The group will also be featured on the upcoming Shopaholic soundtrack with a song originally recorded (but not released) by Rihanna called "Bad Girl." It's fun but not as fun as their song recorded for The City theme.

Top of the Pops Christmas Special!
For Christmas day Top of the Pops in The UK aired a special of performances from song of the year's top artists. When I saw the list of performers expected, I literally would have sold my first born (not that I want one, but you get the idea) in order to attend. Unfortunately, I was across the pond in the US anyway. Here are some of the best performances from the show:
Girls Aloud-"The Promise"
I just NEVER get sick of this song! Good performance once again, but Nicola still looks nightmarish!
Pussycat Dolls-"I Hate This Part"
The only international artists on the show represent! I love this track, so I hope it will continue its upward movement on the charts worldwide. Nicole is a bit tired in her dance routine, but Melody's backing harmonies are a great touch.
Leona Lewis-"Run"
Not many performers actually add to a song in live performance but Leona always seems to. This performance of this epic song is absolutely stunning!
Alexandra Burke-"Hallelujah"
A fitting track for Christmas day, especially since it currently sits at #1 on the singles charts in the UK and is the fastest selling download of the year. The performance is a bit hoarse, and certainly does not top Leona in technique.
Mamma Mia Cast
This soundtrack exploded on the charts this year both in the US and UK and this performance is super fun. "Mamma Mia" always reminds me of clubbing in London as they seem to often play it. The Brady Bunch Movie-esque outfits in "Dancing Queen" are great!
Coldplay-"Viva La Vida"
This song was absolutely massive in 2008 and this performance really shows why!

Royal Variety 2008 Live Performances!
Here's an amazing performance by Leona Lewis of "Run," her Snow Patrol cover. I get CHILLS every time she goes into the first "Light Up, Light Up" bit. Enjoy her and another one of her ball gowns!
The Pussycat Dolls also performed a Medley of their " greatest hits" and would-be hits. Pretty standard for them with an amazing dance-break around 3:30.

Pussycat Dolls Live in Germany!
Watch the girls sing their latest single "I Hate This Part" live in Germany. Ashley is missing for some unknown reason..they probably figured no one would notice...but I did.
Watch around :30 for Kimberly to get caught by the velvet rope when she opens the car door. It starts off as a standard performance of the track but wait for around 3:00 and cue the pyrotechnics and the Dave Aude remix of the track--and bang! It's taken to a whole new level!
